Get ready to step back in time and celebrate the charm of the holiday season during Bellefonte Victorian Christmas as you anticipate a weekend of music, fun, food and entertainment!

Opening Evening Events take place on Howard Street outside of the Centre County Historical Museum (Miles-Humes House) Friday, December 13, 2024

6pm Be cheerful as we gather for the Opening Ceremonies at the Historical Museum (Miles-Humes House) featuring the holiday sounds of Victorian Brass. The Class Act Productions creative troupe will stroll amongst the crowd. Magician Richard Benninghoff will entertain with close-up magic (sponsored by Phoenix Physical Therapy). Holiday treats to keep you warm and cozy, prepared and served by the Bellefonte Presbyterian Church and supported bya gift from the Bellefonte Lions Club. 

7pm 7PM: Stave I “A Ghostly Engineer” is part one of a familiar story in a new setting entitled “Christmas Carol on the Rails”,. Performance will be from the balcony of the Miles-Humes House. Follow along with the remaining parts on Saturday starting at 1pm from the courthouse steps.

7:15pm Welcome & Proclamation – Welcome from our corporate sponsor North Shore Railroad Company and proclamation by Mayor Buddy Johnson officially opens the 2024 Bellefonte Victorian Christmas.

7:30pm Just half a block away, the Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Celebration at Bellefonte Presbyterian Church features music from Nittany Valley Symphony Encore Ensemble under the direction of Timothy Farrand followed by The Bellefonte Community Choir under the direction of Tricia Andriaccio.
